A: Anna Krith – Journalist

C: Claudia Alvarado – Blogger/Stylist

A: Tell me a bit about yourself. Let’s say the highlights of your life and how did you end up in Los Angeles?

C: I was born in raised in Los Angeles. I love everything about it. I also love to travel. I went to University of California of Santa Barbara and got my Bachelors and I am currently going to Argosy University where I am pursuing a Doctorates in Clinical Psychology.

I want to specialize in helping men and women who have been abused or have an addiction. I have always had a passion for helping people. But before that I did get a certificate in Fashion Styling, and interned for the biggest celebrity stylists, and got to work with Emily Blunt, Jordin Sparks, and Leslie Mann. Then I got to work on my own editorials and red carpets I got to style Brody Jenner, Stassi Shroeder, Jeff Lewis, and work for the biggest fashion studios and most amazing models such as Fashion Nova and A’gaci. I have also got to to attend the Grammy’s, Peoples Choice Awards, the Espy’s, and go to New York Fashion Week ! My life has been so great, and I am so blessed and grateful.

A: You are a Blogger and a Stylist. How can these two combine?

C: When I started out as a Stylist, I was always behind the scenes, but I became more confident with myself as I became more professional, and before I knew it, I wanted to dress myself in the clothes I was picking out for my clients and doing photoshoots.

I think every man and woman deserves to wear what makes them feel beautiful and confident; every one is worthy of being center stage I believe. So, now I do both. When I am a Stylist, I am professional and my client is the star, but I give myself those moments when I go out shopping or I am gifted clothes and I rock it at the photoshoots and say “hey I am worthy and this is my time to shine”.

A: What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?

C: My most challenging moment as a Blogger was seeing that not everyone will root for you, not everyone will like you. It was very hard for me, because I am the type of person who likes to to be nice to everyone or show support to everyone and i tend to take things personally but now I have learned not to take it personally and not let it get to me . Its still a work in progress but eventually I will get there.

A: Walk me through the step-by-step process that you went through to get to where you are today.

C: I went to grab lunch with my friend at “Baco Mercat”, then I had a meeting with a Photographer at the “Line hotel” and had a drink, then I went to “Laseraway” in Beverly Hills, after that I went to class in Los Angeles, then I grabbed a late dinner with my sister Monica.

A: Describe your life using film titles.

C: Breakfast at Tiffanys, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Wonder Woman, and end it at the Moulin Rouge.

A: What’s a good application for a blogger?

C: Planoly is the best app for bloggers. I love this app. It basically does the work for me; it helps me organize my Instagram, schedule my pictures, my hashtags, and what I want to put on my blog eventually.

A: What’s your goal for 2018?

C: My goal for 2018 is to travel more, help more people, and hopefully reach one million on Instagram , because I am launching a clothing line !

A: Which celebrity would you like to dress 👗 and why?

C: Emma Watson! I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I love that she is a huge philanthropist. I look up to her as a woman. She is my role model and she is not just a beautiful woman; she stands for those who don’t have a voice – she started the “heforshe” movement. Indeed, she is so fantastic and I hope one day to have an impact like that in the world. I think we are here to leave the world a better place.

A: Name the most important person in your life and on the other hand, someone who betrayed you while you were there for him/her.

C: The most important people in my life are  my sister and my mother. They are so strong and so loving! they have been there for me and believe in me and push me to be stronger and better.

They know the potential in me and they are my role models. I wouldn’t be where I am without them. I have had a couple people betray me but I am not angry and I have forgiven them because in the end I am wiser and stronger and they taught me a lesson, so I give them thanks and send them love. That is all we could do. There is no place in my heart for hate and for anger. Life is too short. Only love and peace.
