Interview with Khloe Kardashian on “Revenge Body”



Reality star, Κhloe Kardashian is back on the game; after losing weight and gaining confidence again, she decided to release a new reality show called “Revenge Body”.

In an exclusive interview transcript, Khloe Kardashian opens up about her weight loss, the new Reality show she hosts, the support “system” of Kourtney Kardashian while she reveals some major fitness tips.


Revenge Body: The weight loss

The reality TV star, said that the concept of “Revenge Body” was born from some twitter questions and her own experience.“This show really resembles my own journey. I started really transforming into a healthier lifestyle through my divorce and through something that was really difficult for me. And where typically I would result to really an unhealthy lifestyle and overeating and overdrinking, and just not having a good outlet, I decided to change my ways and I decided to go to the gym and find therapy through the gym, and mental clarity, which was great. And through that journey, and the power of social media, I would get so many tweets that were either motivating me or like “How did you do this? How did you find the strength to do this?” And through Twitter, it really gave me the idea, “Okay well, I’m not the only one going through something and struggling, and I’m not the only one that has been lost and now found my way”.


Finding nemesis…

The wonderful and glamorous Khloe Kardashian, hopes to heal the wounds of the people who have been through traumatic experiences, through “Revenge Body”. She noted “I would love to give people the courage and the strength to find their way. And the beauty of “Revenge Body”, it’s not just about breakups; it’s not superficial. I have people that have gone through seeing their father drowned in front of them; I have someone that was raped, on the show, and gained weight from that traumatic experience. I do have people that were bullied in high school or that are going through divorces. So it’s all different walks of life and they just don’t know how to get out of this dark place. And I feel like I have been blessed with a platform, and we all are [blessed with a platform] – whether it’s for forty people or forty million people – and we’re supposed to use that in a positive way. I know Instagram and social media becomes so superficial, and I really want to start making a change and helping people from the inside out. “Revenge Body” is not just about a body, it’s about being strong mentally, and this show is mind, body and soul. And so these people aren’t losing sixty pounds in sixty days. It’s about finding their inner strength and conquering, finding their nemesis, which could be just closure on a father passing away, which they never got before. It’s me showing them the tools on how to deal with things in a healthier way”.


The body inspiration

Among other things, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star, referred to the standard female body she admires. “I don’t necessarily have a body inspiration. I like to probably pick apart people, and be like “I want so and so’s legs, and so and so’s booty”. I mean, god, Beyoncé does have a great, high and tight booty, doesn’t she! But I do think I like to pick apart people, because I don’t believe that there’s one perfect body out there. But, also, I think it’s great to have women that we look up to, that we’re like ‘I want to have legs like that’, or whatever that may be. I do follow a lot of fitness Instagram pages, because it motivates me and I like just seeing other women’s bodies. But I’m pretty happy with my own body. It’s our bodies. I’m happy with my own body; I just want to make it better. I don’t like to compare myself to other people”.



Hitting the gym with Kourtney

Khloe Kardashian, claims that working out with Kourtney is really fun. “I never in a million years thought Kourtney would be bad ass in the gym. She’s tiny and petite, I would just think she would kind of be a little, weak little thing, but Kourtney is bad ass in the gym! So it’s fun to work out with her. I take working out really seriously, I like to be drenched, and when you get to work out with your girlfriends, it is fun. You listen to music, we kind of gossip at the same time, but still get it done and you feel so accomplished afterwards. I totally believe in, if you’re on this journey, you should do it with someone. I work out with my boyfriend. I think your partner, you should have similar hobbies. It’s motivating; I love to be a little competitive! Kourtney loves to show me pictures of her abs and I’m like “Girl”, because she’s had three kids and she looks so amazing! But we’re having an “ab off”. That’s what we’re doing now”.


The top 3 “Revenge Body” tips

In conclusion, Khloe Kardashian shared three tips, which help in weight loss and also revealed she’s own “secret” weapon. “My three top tips for getting a Revenge Body is water, water, water. It sounds silly but I drink three to four litres of water, minimum, a day. And my nutritionist says water wins every time, and I believe that. And it keeps you young; hair, skin, everything is great. I believe in baby steps: set small, obtainable goals. I think a lot of people bite off more than they can chew, and then they feel defeated when they don’t hit that goal. I think start off working out maybe three days a week. People always say ‘Okay, day one starts tomorrow’ and they cut out everything – carbs, sugar – they work out so much, and you can’t do it; your body’s in shock. And they feel defeated and they give up. So I think start small and then gear up from there. You have to crawl before you walk. For me, if you can, when I cut out dairy, that’s when I noticed the biggest weight loss. I lost eleven pounds in less than two weeks when I cut out dairy. And that’s the only thing I changed. I didn’t work out harder, nothing”.
